How to install audio driver on your notebook.

As you know installing audio driver is not very easy. Most of time you cant here any voice from your notebook.

If you have a notebook which use realtek audio card please follow my intructions.

  1. Download Realtek HD Audio Hotfix from here and unzip. (pass=www.notebook.gen.tr)

    UPDATE: If you installed windows sp3 you must install Universal Audio Architecture High Definition Audio AddOn 1.0 for sp3

  2. This file contain the install of the Hotfix of High Definition Audio Bus, select your language and install it. Then, you gotta open your "Device Manager" and watch "System Devices", it will appear some "PCI Device" with a warning(?) mark, right-click, upload the drivers, let Windows find them alone (not via Windows Update, just local). When Windows catch the drivers, the bus is finally recognized.

  3. Choose right hotfix for yout operating system and install it.

  4. Download last version of realtek audio driver from here and install.

  5. Try to play any music.

    Dude i have the sound on my Acer Aspire, but its very feeble. I cant hear anything if the TV is on. Can i improve the quality by doing the same solution as u said above. Plzz try to help this thing just wispers...:O(

    Hi I have a Toshiba Saellite Pro A200 1A5 (PSAE4) and I have recently installed Windows XP with SP3 on it and all the drivers but the sounddrivers work. The drivers from Toshibas Site doesn work and I can use this hotfix because it says "Setup has detected that the service pack version of this system is newer than the update you are applying. There is no need to install this update" so what do i do? the soundcard is by the way realtek hd something.

    SP3. When I run the AddOn 1.0 for sp3 on an Acer TravelMate 5612WSMi it simply doent happend anything. It doenst run the AddOn! Any suggestion?

    Thank you for the drivers, after installing an early build of SP3 on a new computer I had issues finding a compliant driver. This worked great!

    High,thanx alot, this was killing me for 1day to found out. I have SP3, so you need to download only addon for SP3, (dont need for sp2 or sp1) and as someone told, nothing hapens when you click on exe, so you need to look in to device manager, and i saw there pci device with warning, so i manualy instaled drivers for this devices, and UALA , start to come microsoft UAA bus driver blabla, and after i finish, system caught realtek drivers i had instaled 1000times before.. :D now i have sound, any questions ? :) skype me ;)
